As we go about our daily lives, we all get into certain situations where we find it dificult to pick the best spot to spend some time, whether with family, friends or just by ourselves.
Often, we are confused about where to go, how much time will it take etc etc. If you have ever found yourself in such a situation, then you need to download AroundMe, a locally-developed Kenyan app on your Nokia phone.
From shopping to restaurants to hospitals to banks and even gas stations, wherever in Kenya, this app is your go-to directory for all the service you could ever need. The minute you log on, it triangulates your location and depending on where you want to go, it gives you a list of all the available locations.
For example, if you are looking to go for coffee or a drink, this app is so cool that it gives you the available cafés or restaurants around your location. It even calculates the time it would take for you to get to each location. By doing so it helps you decide which place is most convenient for you. It even gives you directions of the place you want to go, map images of the place and you can even read other people’s reviews of the place.
Furthermore, if you can’t find what you are looking for, you can search for it and the AroundMe App will find it for you.
AroundMe comes in very handy in our day to day lives. It has been developed to cater to all our needs and it is currently available on Nokia touch devices running on Symbian 3 S60. However there is talk of making it available on other Nokia devices so watch this space. In the mean time, for those who can take advantage of what this app has to offer say goodbye to wondering where to go and how to reach that place. The only thing you need is the AroundMe app!
