SKYPE suffers yet another crash: Users unable to sign in.

Users of Skype may have to go yet another day without their trusted client for calling across continents and seamless chat-messaging for a few hours today.

This is attributed to a failure in the overall Skype system that has disabled logging in and consequently inhibited communication between users all over the World.

An Official message from the official Skype twitter account said “A small number of you may have problems signing in to Skype. We’re investigating the cause, and hope to have more details to share soon.” at 1400 HRS EastAfrican Time today 7^th June 2011.

Was wondering whether the switching of computers two days ago had the impact on my not being able to log in. Trying to reset password wouldnt still work since the reset password message wont come to my mail.

They had an issue with some logins for sometime but they are now fine. If it still has a problem perhaps tweeting to the official Skype account should raise their attention.

The news is reporting that Facebook is launching a Video chat with borrowed plugin from Skype. This is a great addition I think.
