Epson recently announced the launch of its range of full 3D HD projectors targeted at film enthusiasts, sports lovers and gamers in Kenya. The EH-TW6100W projector is packed with the latest technology that includes wireless Full HD connectivity, new wireless HD transmitter with 5 HDMI inputs; yes you read right, 5 HDMI inputs allowing non-wireless devices to be connected for a nice media experience. All previous models of this projector came with only one HDMI input port. This projector also features a Radio Frequency (RF) 3D technology that provides signal for 3D glasses. It is also equipped for 2D to 3D conversion. This EH-TW6100W has ability to project full HD content through wireless protocol and this can be enabled even from non-wireless devices. This is made possible when you attach an included wireless HD transmitter.
Upon unboxing the EH-TW6100W, you will find a pair of USB-rechargeable (great if you’re single like me and your cat doesn’t like watching movies :-/ ), Radio Frequency, lightweight, active shutter 3D glasses. You can use these within a range of 10 meters from line of sight to the 3D projector.
Commenting on the launch of the new projectors, Epson Regional Sales Chief for East Africa, Mukesh Bector, says the Epson was looking at introducing products tailored towards different market segments with a view to increasing the firm’s footprint in the East African region. With the projector, Mukesh added, 2-Dimensional HD content can be converted to 3-Dimensional content in an instant at the touch of a button. Other cool features include automatic colour optimization, 3D depth adjustment and super-resolution technology to enhance the consumer’s viewing experience.
