Coca-Cola in an effort to compete with Pepsi decided to concentrate in its Africa markets. For example, “A billion Reasons To Believe In Africa” is an example of a marketing slogan that’s a great example of a great corporation seeing the potential of mama Africa.
IBM and SAP have in the recent past set up shop and are in the process of creating solutions for the African market. There billions in worth of untapped potential. SAP has endeavored to create a custom solution for the agriculture industry with its main focus on Kenyan Tea industry players and with a focus on the KTDA, Kenya Tea Development Agency.
China has been a great investor of Africa, with its “big” loans in the development of Africa Infrastructure. They have been involved in major projects in fast growing countries such as Ghana, DRC Congo, and Nigeria.
Africa is creating solutions for Africa and the world.
Change is finally here, and we are the prospects. There are those who will watch the fun happen and there are a lucky few who will soar on this wave to new horizon.
