There are very good ideas being developed in Nairobi and unfortunately, they almost always never get to be heard by the masses. What’s more is that these ideas never get to see the light of day because the guys who develop them don’t get a stage to present that at. Well, that is about to change with Intel.
They have developed a new platform that they are adopting locally that has borrowed from the Shark Tank format that you may have seen on Cable channel ABC on TV with popular Shark Mark Cuban. Intel will be hosting a session with judges locally to listen to pitches from programmers, business development managers, and techpreneurs that are looking to get help in getting ready for the next big step in their businesses. The event will be happening this Wednesday at the iHub based on the 4th floor of Bishop Magua building along Ngong Road right opposite Uchumi Hyper.
Up for grabs during this event will be:
- The Intel Powered Samsung Galaxy Tab 3
- The Intel Powered Asus Fonepad
- and, the Intel Inside YOLO Smartphone
To participate, you’d need to have applied before Thursday, 5th December so if you didn’t, you’ll have to sit in the audience and just watch. This event will also be an opportunity for Intel East Africa to celebrate the end of 2013 and to showcase what they have in store for developers and customers in 2014.
