MultiChoice Africa has launched Channel ED, geared towards supporting learners with new educational channel during this “Back2School” season early in 2014. Channel ED joined the DStv and GOtv family of channels this past Tuesday (14th January 2014) and airs on DStv channel 318 and on GOtv channel 65. The channel gives all MultChoice subscribers access to a knowledge portal of both global high-end documentaries and new locally-produced content.
Offerings a wide range from physics to finance, culture to chemistry and from the natural to the supernatural, it brings together both the learned and the learning so our customers access the world’s leading minds in an interactive, vibrant arena of innovations and discovery.

Channel ED’s broad content is aimed at ages 15 to 49 and is yet another demonstration of our commitment to bringing families together through the ultimate family viewing experience,” says Danny Mucira, General Manager, MultiChoice Kenya.
The channel will broadcast six hours of new content every week day, including documentaries, short form material and presenter-driven programmes.
