Asus has announced it will showcase its new generation products at the Intel Tech Bonanza scheduled to take place at the Sarit Centre starting December 5, allowing Kenyans to purchase products at discounted prices.
The Tech event by Intel will see Asus unveil its new generation Fonepad, a device that functions both as a phone and a tablet and is powered by latest Intel processors, as well as the Transformer Book Flip.
The Asus Fonepad, first launched earlier last year is an affordable tablet in the market, bringing voice capability to the tablet with all phone and tablet functionalities incorporated in the device.
Introduced in June this year, the Asus Fonepad 8, an 8-inch tablet running on Android 4.4 KitKat with the company’s ZenUI on top is the latest device in the Fonepad series and comes with built-in 3G connectivity and phone functionality.
Also being introduced is the Asus Transformer Book Flip, a laptop designed to run on Windows 8, is powered by a 4th generation Intel Core processor and features a detachable Full HD touchscreen display allowing the user to transform the laptop into a tablet.
“The event will highlight Asus’ resolve of providing users, business people and enterprises market-defining products that offer total solutions for today’s computing challenges,” said Chris Wen, Product Manager at Asus Kenya.
The computer hardware and electronics company will also be showcasing its other range of products including the X-series notebooks, hybrid Ultrabooks and its G-series gaming laptops.
“We’ll be having a wide range of computing devices from tablets, notebooks and gaming laptops that consumers can make contact with. The product will also be up for sale at reduced prices,” Wen added.
Asus will be showcasing the products alongside six other tech players including Acer, Lenovo, Dell, HP, Toshiba and iSurf.
