There’s a mega sale of mobile phones and mobile hand held devices coming on the 2nd June to 8th of June on Jumia that will offer amazing discounts during for anyone interested in purchasing a phone.
Jumia is calling it the “Jumia Mobile Week” as it, unlike Black Friday which is popular in the US and lasts just 24 hours, will span an entire week featuring the world’s most popular mobile brands (each brand has its own day) including
- Samsung
- Innjoo
- Infinix
- Samsung
- Fly Mobile
- Microsoft
- and Tecno.
Customers who manage to download & install the Jumia mobile app for Android, IOS, Windows or Black Berry will receive exclusive early access to the deals from 5:00AM in the morning before the deals go live at 9:00AM on the Jumia website. This is what Jumia is using to get users to download the app onto their mobile phones.
Jumia is confident no other company can match the prices of mobile phones that Jumia will be offering during the mobile week as is reiterated by Jumia Kenya MD Parinaz Firozi.
Among the most anticipated deals include:
- Infinix Hot Note selling at KES 10,499 down from KES 20,998
- Tecno Y4 selling at KES 4999 down from KES 6,899
- Samsung Galaxy J1 at KES 9,999 down from KES 10,999
- and Fly Mobile Thunder 3 selling at KES 4,999
There’ll also be a press conference before Mobile Week begins, probably on 1st or 2nd June, to mark the start of the promotion with the launch of an original white paper on the “Growth of the Smartphone Market in Kenya”.
