Ericsson and Etisalat Egypt have been recognized with a Global Telecoms Business Innovation 2015 Award for the ‘New Day – New Idea’ project, which gives subscribers better access to flexible mobile data services. Winning in the category of wireless network infrastructure innovation, Ericsson and Etisalat were honored during a ceremony held at The GTB Innovation Awards in London in May. The Global Telecoms Business Innovation Awards highlight innovative projects in the global telecommunications industry, led by service providers and their technology suppliers.
Saeed AlHamli, CEO of Etisalat Egypt noted that ”We had strong growth plans for our mobile broadband services in the face of arduous competition and users’ demand for greater control.
